- PLAYING STRENGTH

- By the implementation of the null-move, move ordering and extensions, the
- tactical plying strength is improved. Positional play and end games are
- still weak.

- INTERFACE

- File menu:
- Save Game: the used time is saved now.
- Save Board/ Print Board: it's now possible to give the board an ascii output.

- Level menu:
- Set Level: this window is totaly reorganised.

- Options menu:
- Game Pause has a keyboard shortcut [command] H (halt).
- Take back Move: has now a keyboard shortcut [command] B.

- Preferences menu:
- Openings Book/ Permanent Brain: this shows now a mark.
- Sound: the sound can be set on and off.
- Colour: black&white- or coloured pieces can be chosen.
- Pieces: there are four new chess-sets. Thanks to Heinrich E. Roescheisen, he
- gave permission to use his sets.
- The new sets are: Classical small, Cheq, Modern (2) and Zuerich.

- Info window:
- score: This shows now M4 instead of 29992.
- move: The moves witch MacChess is busy to search are not being showed if the
- search process is ready. The move number now goes up.
- eval.: In place of positions, evaluations where showed.

- PV window: This is made a bit larger and can show a variation of maximum 16
- moves (32 ply).

- Board: If MacChess played it's move, the piece that moved is blinking.
